There are shops selling all types of furniture in both traditional and modern styles. Some shops sell standard factory-produced furniture. Others sell high quality hand-made pieces. There is also a wide selection of furniture for the office. Most of the shops are open daily between 09:00 and 20:00, except on the first Sunday of the month.
The Yongsan electronics market in Seoul is an area of 20 buildings, which are home to more than 5,000 shops selling every type of appliance. It is the largest market for electronic goods in Asia and prices are often significantly lower than in the rest of South Korea, particularly for Korean brands.
The shops sell computers, stereos, appliances, telephones, office equipment, electronic games, software, lighting equipment and CDs. The market is located at Yongsan station on subway line one.
